Vivien ♀ Twenty one (21) English Literature Major ✎ A Gleek ♬ I love you like a love song

I'll be missing you guys for the time being, since my life is so deprived that I have to seek entertainment from blogging. Hell, what a loser. But no, I will not be soaking in my contemplations of loser-dom. Nope. I'm here to say:
And then, of course if you still need some encouragement to start revision (I know I do):

Good luck, everyone. You know, deep in your heart, DEEP, you really love studying, and really, the promos are just a way of showing that love and appreciation. Go get those demons.

Well, I was watching Aladdin on Disney Channel. Yes, I am gay, whatever, but I was so sick of doing Integration. So I guess this is it, the Promos are really approaching. Gah. I think I'm going to go mad. I am contemplating sadistic actions if I were to, you know, not get promoted. And they get more desperate and sadistic as time passes. Like, at first, it was just to plant suicide notes into teachers' lockers, and now, it is the burning down of the school. Not that the very efficient school wouldn't put out the fire almost immediately, but it is the power surge you get from at least trying carry out some sort of screwed up revenge on the education system.
And in the true spirit of elitism, I think I should be getting started on revision. Not that it would a lot of use, considering my extreme inability to concentrate and study. I mean, it's not my fault that I do not revel in the pointless memorising of stuff, right? I mean, yeah, learning is really fun and stimulating, but studying for exams suck. I mean, once the exams are over, you wouldn't really care about Sigma or Dogma, or Benzene.
Or maybe you do, if you are a mild sort of freak. Okay, that hurts, sorry. It is not freakish to think about studies all the time. In fact, seeing that we are so caught up in all the elitism stuff, we really should worship these sort of people. Once in a while, I would really like to see into their minds and find out what these sort of people really think of; find out what screwed up mind allows them to stay up till 4a.m. to study.
I need to do the freaking China journal. Man.
Sometimes I just want to quit. Losers quit, I know. Like how we are so disillusioned that we don't even want to think of doing something about the screwed up GP marker situation. Because, obviously, it wouldn't work, it would fail, who are we to do stuff like that? We are such bloody losers, we can't do a thing about anything. We can only revise, study, mug, mug, mug. Mug in a boring office job, mug to make money, mug till the last day, when we mug to hang on to our life support.
Bleak. Sometimes I would rather be a character in a book, even a loser one like Mary. Simply because she gets to experience something.
Good luck, mates.
Jenny- The Click Five
She calls me baby,
then she won't call me.
Says she adores me
and then ignores me.
Jenny, what's the problem?
She keeps her distance and sits on fences.
Puts up resistance and builds defenses.
Jenny, what's the problem?
You leave me hanging on the line.
Every time you change your mind.
First You say you won't,
then you say you will.
You keep me hanging on,
and we're not moving on.
I"m standing still, Jenny.
You got me on my knees.
Jenny, it's killing me.
She needs her own space.
She's playing mind games.
Ends up at my place saying that she's changed.
Jenny, what's the problem?
I'm trying to read between the lines.
You got me going out of my mind.
First, you say you won't,
then you say you will.
You keep me hanging on,
and we're not moving on.
I'm standing still, Jenny.
You got me on my knees.
Jenny, it's killing me.
It's killing me.
It's killing me.
Jenny.
First, you say you won't, then you say you will.
You keep me hanging on, and I'm not moving on.
I'm standing still, Jenny. You got me on my knees.
Jenny.
First, you say you won't, then you say you will.
You keep me hanging on, and we're not moving on.
I'm standing still, Jenny. You got me on my knees.
Jenny.
It's killing me.
It's killing me.
Jenny.

You can change the word Jenny to Promos too, actually. Personification, then.

Anyway. Good luck. I would most probably go on a hiatus tomorrow. So this would maybe be my second to last post until the darn promos are over.
Promos are a killer. I just hope I don't tio that asshole GP marker. Oh no.
Er, seeya.

Also, the lit homework wasn't posted, which meant that I had one less homework. Shows you the inconvenient side of technology, eh? Yay for screwy technology!
But one thing I managed to complete is the reading of Pride and Prejudice, yes, after half a year, and the story really is quite nice, once you got past the front part. And it's quite funny too lar. Go read it, haha.
Okay, time to do my econs essay. Gah.

But meanwhile I shall not heed the warning signs, but instead slack the holidays away. I have just finished packing the tutorials from the past months. Wow. I tell you, all those papers weigh about 10 kg altogether. And you should see the foolscap pads I have finished. Man.
I don't get the name 'foolscap', like, fool's cap? Or fool scap? What's a scap?
Okay, never mind that.
I am suddenly struck with the realisation that I really don't know why I took H1 Economics. I don't like the subject, I'm not good at the subject, and, worse of all, the subject is utterly useless. Okay, so it is more useful than GP, but still.
And speaking of GP, this subject is seriously killing us. I mean we wouldn't be half as worried if GP wasn't the pass-or-die subject. Other JCs don't have these sort of screwed examination rules. And GP really kills, like even those study-people have been killed by it. Just because GP is a prickly, luck-based and un-study-able subject. Proves how study-oriented we really are, no one actually reads fictional stuff anymore, only reading those periodically boring periodicals. Or books about globalisation. Like we even care.
We should have some strike against unfair treatment of students, but we would most certainly be squashed by the GP teachers, under the front of "It's for your own good". As if we even need GP to enter University. Wouldn't it be better to ease those rules and let us promote, even if our english standard become like lousy lousy one?
I mean, it's not like our English really suck--GP is not English! GP is a pseudo-act-chim-act-deep thing, when all we care about are our grades. Not globalisation, or animal rights.
Whatever lar. We just have to cross our fingers and pray for the best.
Okay, here's something to cheer you lost/poor/down/mugging (already? Come on!)/deadened souls up. And if you have already lost your souls to the evils of the world (whatever), here's something to cheer your, er, shells up.
Weird thing is, we are discussing after-promos activities before the promos even arrive. Man, are we screwed.

And we celebrated her birthday on her very birthday with her! And Fish&co has a weird tribal chant birthday thing.
Cecilia was commenting on how we people had such great chemistry and friendship (something like that), and yeah, we do. :D
