I just read the email Mr. Soh sent us about the GIC guy. You know, after listening to his talk, I felt as if he quite made sense. But now I realise he did have blatant bias against any job which cannot earn him millions in a year. Oh well. If he finds joy in money..

I mean, Mr. Krabs finds joy in making money and is a bloody cheapskate, but we still find him endearing, right?

I love watching spongebob, because it is so brainlessly funny. Sometimes you just want to laugh at the most stupid and ridiculous things patrick does. :D

Pat was talking about how Singaporeans are indoctrinated since birth to think only of the merits of a meritocratic system. Next time I want to work at Nickelodeon.

No one is blogging nowadays, and topics for another issue of IT are scarce. You shall just have to make do with this mediocre post then. Come on people, where is the life?

Anyway, are you people free this Friday? For birthday dinner and whatnot? Because I refuse to bow down to the slings and arrows of fate, or whatever Hamlet said. I really can't remember.

I just read a very disturbing blog. And no, I do not refer to the lust-filled comments. I am just utterly disgusted with the degree of nonsense the Singaporean system of meritocracy had instilled into the blogger. I know you must be pragmatic to survive, and dreamers never really last in our society, but really, must every single thing be reduced to the bare minimal where all actions must be calculated, where a person's worth is measured only academically?

What kind of a screwed up system is that? How can someone be so deluded and disillusioned and deprived? (Sorry about the "d" adjectives) If our education system is able to reduce students into these sort of self-defeatist, elitist-adoring people, there is something fundamentally wrong with it.

Sometimes maybe misanthropes are right, because humans are so fundamentally flawed, and human societies can sometimes be absolutely ludicrous, hating humans seems to be the only sensible thing to do.

Somehow I think blogging trivialises life's many occurrences, and reduces them into nothing more than meaningless rants. I bet now you are feeling quite bored. Because I am.
